About Me

About Me

I graduated from the Media School at Indiana University, with a degree in Media Advertising and a specialization in Public Relations. My interests include pop culture, social media, TV and movie production, music and writing. I’m also interested in Broadway,  volunteering, social issues, traveling and culture. Ideally, I would like to incorporate my interests and skills with my career by working in a space that involves aspects of media, branding, promotional events, social media and advertising. I thrive in an atmosphere that is interactive, fast-paced and unpredictable. I aspire to have my career align with my values. I appreciate communication, innovation, collaboration, diversity, impact, and passion.

At its core, media is focused on communication. I have always enjoyed working in a collaborative and flexible environment, as well as developing connections with others. I hope the work I do in my professional career can have an impact on society. I’m enthusiastic about my work, and my passion leads to my ability to be persuasive and innovative. I approach challenges with patience, compassion and creativity.

Media Leadership & Training

Director of Programming for Chi Omega Fraternity

November 2016 - November 2018

I was elected by 120+ members of Chi Omega to manage the events and calendar for the organization. I lead the cardinal cabinet directors and chairs, who handle marketing, events, apparel, and morale for the sorority. Through monthly meetings, I act as a liaison for upcoming plans between the cabinet and the executive board.

Marketing Committee for the Indiana University Dance Marathon (IUDM)

September 2016- November 2018

I raised $1,286 for the Riley Hospital for Children through various donations and sponsorships. Through communication and persuasive skills, I established donation outreach and awareness through social media, email, and in-person interactions. I documented the process leading up to the event and the 36-hour marathon through photos and videos. By collaborating with my committee, I contributed to the marathon's promotional video.

Work Experience

Community Intern at Atolla Skin Lab (New York, NY)

June-November 2018

StrateSphere specializes in international entrepreneurship and innovation. I worked closely with their current project in Saudi Arabia, where they are planning to establish an innovation district. Throughout my duration, I researched successful innovation districts, as well various companies and universities involved in their foundation. I specifically evaluated the structure and marketing strategies of these districts. With research analysis, I expanded on ideas for future community engagement and outreach of the company's project in Saudi Arabia. I developed these ideas further by designing an outreach proposal with aspects of branding, advertising, relations, and media.

Intern and Researcher at StrateSphere (Columbus, OH)

Summer 2015, 2016, and 2017

Atolla Skin Lab is a MIT-based start-up that is transforming the approach to skincare by empowering their customers to take ownership over their skin health. Atolla Skin Lab is simplifying skin science and providing a platform to analyze and understand your skin, as well as create personalized formulations. As their community intern, I strategized effective messaging for social media platforms by creating content for Atolla's profiles. I also created content for the company's biweekly newsletters that were published on their official site. In my position, I utilized my analytical abilities through Atolla's influencer marketing initiative, as well as their primary market research process.
